Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that every software works as expected by doing rigorous, exhaustive testing.
  • Serve as the first line of defense in spotting game functionality concerns.
  • Use your knowledge of typical QA processes to review problems, test cases, and write documentation.
  • Create and manage test plans and scripts for new and existing game themes and features.
  • Document and track all issues in the bug tracking database (JIRA) until they are fixed.
  • Verify Live Game events for accuracy and operation.
  • Use debugging, administrative, and external software tools to diagnose, recreate, and identify issues.
  • Help software developers resolve bugs by reproducing them as needed.
  • Create status reports, documentation, and lower-level reports for supervisors.

Technical skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Results-oriented with a good attitude and the capacity to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and unpredictability.
  • Execute scripted and ad hoc tests to reliably reflect the progress of features and games.
  • Strong understanding of software test methodologies and the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

A degree in computer science or a related discipline, or comparable relevant experience

Experience

One to two years of software testing experience is necessary.

Selection Process
Online Test:

The online test for Vahan includes questions about different types of questions in sections like  Quantitative aptitude exam, Reasoning ability exam, and Verbal Ability ability exam or English grammar. The duration of the test is about 60 minutes. Each section of the test Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and Verbal Ability have seperate time allocated to them and all questions of that section need to be completed in that period. The candidate can attempt questions in any order but cannot attempt among the other sections which means that the candidate has to finish one section (like reasoning) first and then he/she can move to other sections.

Technical Round:

The candidate who clears the online test is eligible for the Technical round. This technical round is about checking your basic or advanced concepts and how good you are technically in the related field. Questions will be from different subjects. candidates should be prepared with Data structures and Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, Networking, OOP concepts, and a programming language. Students from branches other than IT should prepare basic concepts of their branch. Some puzzle questions might be asked in some of the interviews.

HR Round:
