Roles & Responsibilities

  • Data-Driven Insights: Extracting meaningful insights from large and complex data sets to enable informed decision-making.

  • Data Structuring for Efficiency: Assisting with data structure to improve the efficiency of retrieving relevant business information.
  • Data Auditing and Resolution: Analyzing data to identify and resolve any data quality concerns, working collaboratively with the Data team to guarantee a timely resolution.
  • Proactive reporting entails giving actionable reports to company stakeholders based on data analysis, which aids in strategic decision-making.
  • Analytical Problem Solving entails conducting rigorous analytical deep dives in order to properly assess and resolve complicated financial challenges.
  • Financial Modeling: Assisting with the development of financial models to forecast relevant KPIs for the Finance department, hence contributing to strategic planning.

Technical skills:

  • Financial Acumen: A thorough understanding of P&L and cash flow concepts.
  • Project management in a fast-paced environment: Experience managing various objectives and projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactivity and Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to manage several projects autonomously while recognizing when to raise difficulties or seek assistance.
  • Communication and Data Presentation: Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to successfully communicate data to various stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a willingness to conduct analytical studies.

Preferred, minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.


A minimum of two years in a similar data analysis role.

Selection Process
Online Test:

The online test for Vahan includes questions about different types of questions in sections like  Quantitative aptitude exam, Reasoning ability exam, and Verbal Ability ability exam or English grammar. The duration of the test is about 60 minutes. Each section of the test Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and Verbal Ability have seperate time allocated to them and all questions of that section need to be completed in that period. The candidate can attempt questions in any order but cannot attempt among the other sections which means that the candidate has to finish one section (like reasoning) first and then he/she can move to other sections.

Technical Round:

The candidate who successfully completes the online test will proceed to the Technical Round. This stage evaluates your foundational and advanced knowledge relevant to the financial analysis field. Expect inquiries into financial statements, ratios, financial modeling, and valuation techniques. Be prepared to discuss your understanding of financial terms and methodologies.Demonstrate your ability to analyze and interpret financial data sets. This may involve questions on statistical analysis, trend identification, and forecasting methods.

HR Round:

Upon successful completion of the Technical Round, candidates will proceed to the HR Round. This stage focuses on assessing your compatibility with the organization’s culture, values, and team dynamics.
